Amber N. Gilbert
Amber has more than 16 years experience in the blood banking industry, including a diverse background in operational implementation, product procurement and distribution, and vendor relations. She began her blood banking career in 2006 at the Oklahoma Blood Institute as a Laboratory Technician in the Infectious Disease Testing Laboratory, and spent the next 14 years serving in several roles, including External Accounts Manager where she was responsible for the external partners portfolio of Infectious Disease Testing, Resource Sharing and Contracting of Transfusable and Further Manufacturing products, and Logistics vendor relations. In 2020, Amber joined American Red Cross Cell and Gene Therapy Solutions. Most recently, as Director of Client Relationship Management, she was responsible for supporting clients and internal operations to provide collection of cells for use in research development, clinical and commercial production.
