Founded in 2012, the National Blood Collaborative is a national network of leading blood centers working together to respond to the increasing economic demands of hospitals and healthcare systems. The organization delivers blood management services through local and not-for-profit, community-based centers. It comprises ten blood centers that collect, process, and distribute more than 1.2 million blood components every year, serving hospital customers in 38 states. “We are pleased to welcome the Miller-Keystone Blood Center to our network of affiliated blood centers nationwide,” said Amy Wilharm, CEO of the National Blood Collaborative. “We look forward to collaborating closely with their leadership to advance our strategic objectives, driving innovative initiatives that will support hospitals and strengthen local communities.”
As part of the Collaborative, Miller-Keystone Blood Center joins fellow members Kentucky Blood Center, LifeServe Blood Center, LifeSouth Community Blood Center, ImpactLife, Rock River Valley Blood Center, San Diego Blood Bank, Stanford Blood Center, Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, and The Blood Center.
